Why do I enter my own interest rate?
Rates change often and depend on the lender, the loan and your situation, so we do not show one. Use the rate from a current lender offer or your existing loan to see an estimate on your own figures.
How accurate are these estimates?
They are a guide only, based on the figures you enter and the method notes above. Each lender assesses income, expenses, debts and credit history in its own way, so what a lender offers can differ. All lending is subject to lender criteria and credit assessment.
Does using a calculator affect my credit score?
No. The calculators do not run a credit check. A credit enquiry is only made if you apply for a loan.
What should I do with my result?
Bring it to a first conversation. We look at your whole situation, compare loans from our lender panel and explain the options that may suit you.
